What are Dentures?

Dentures are replacements for natural teeth that have been lost. They can either be full (complete) dentures or partial dentures made either with a metal or acrylic framework. Dentures can be removed and put back into the mouth.

Dentures are a suitable option when many teeth are missing on both sides. It usually feels strange initially and may require slight adjustments as they settle in the mouth. Well-fitted dentures will go a long way to restoring a patient’s smile and function such as chewing food.​
